The Cook Inlet is one of the most popular and beautiful areas leaving Anchorage, and always one of my favorites. The water can be rough and wild, and I'm always amazed to see kayakers and surfers play in the waves! It reminds me of the adventurous spirit of so many who come here. A gorgeous, colorful sky set along the blues and purples of the mountains reflects on the water. A kayaker quietly pushes past the waves, taking in the magnificence of Alaska.
